Tracy Whittington has had a personal interest helping those with limited mobility and chronic pain for over 32 years. In 1990, she was ejected from an automobile, leaving her with multiple fractures in her neck and back. The long road of recovery inspired her to pursue an education in Exercise Science at ASU, graduating Cum Laude in her class in 1997. After graduation she furthered her education and training with an emphasis in flexibility, soft tissue techniques, and personal training. Tracy also found a love for speaking to large groups on the benefits of stretching and was asked to assist professor Dr. Wayne Phillips at ASU in1999 and 2000
Tracy started her career with Stretch To Win, and was one of the original 8 trained by Ann Frederick in 1997. Over the years she has become a certified nutrition coach, personal trainer, and a quantum biofeedback specialist. She has taken many courses on biomechanics, neuromuscular technqiues, and myofasical release.
Her understanding of the importance of structural balance for optimal health has enabled her to integrate these techniques together like no else has in the valley. She has been told over and over "no one has ever explained it to me that way," "you were my last resort," and "I've tried everything and you're the only person that has helped." To the benefit of her clients, Tracy having had all those years of recovery gave her a deep understanding of the fascia system and the enormous referral system our bodies present to a trained specialist. This has allowed her the personal experience that she uses to educate those seeking answers to their own chronic pain and inflexibility issues. Tracy's mission is to help her clients achieve their goals as naturally as possible by investigating all avenues that contribute to their issues. They leave Stretch RX with tools to continue their journey on their own for years to come.
Tracy's perfect client is one desiring a life with ample mobility in their body and/or someone needing pain management for their acute or chronic pain syndromes. Being an athlete most of her life, she understands the connection between speed, strength, and flexibility and has worked with all types of athletes from professional to weekend warriors, junior athletes of all ages, and seniors! Her youngest client is 8yrs old and her oldest 91!!! Tracy was gymnast and diver from a young age through high school and she knows the importance of stretching, how to stretch, what to stretch and what not to, and how often. And she does practice what she preaches!! In 2020 she took up the sport of Motorcross!!! In her mid 50's, She enjoys riding with her husband and two son's. Tracy is a walking testimony of how a strong and stretched body can allow you do whatever you desire.
